Best Farm in Manhattan!

In case some of y’all haven’t heard, The Concept Farm received what we can all consider, one of our greatest accolades in the nearly ten years since our barn doors opened . We were listed by Crains as one of the Top 50 Best Places to Work in New York City for 2008. We actually nestled ourselves in way up at #20. Right between Goldman Sachs and Silverstien Properties! Pretty darn good, fellow Farmers, pretty darn good.

crainsawardAccording to Crains: “Crain’s ‘Best Places to Work in New York City’ represents the most outstanding employers from throughout our five boroughs, as defined by their employees,” said Jill Kaplan, VP & publisher of Crain’s New York Business. “In these challenging times, this distinguished group of winners can be proud knowing it was the praise and support of their employees that earned them this honor.”

We tip our straw hat to every Farmer, past, present and future for making The Concept Farm the special place it is.

Congratulations and thank you.

When it comes to saving lives, nothing is going to far. Not even airing spots with Stroke Cheerleaders, hiring a Stroke psychic or airing a cartoon about Strokes. Check it out.

Crain’s NY Business Top Small Firms

The Concept Farm builds its team by inspiring employees—referred to as “farmers”—to do their part in making a difference. Part ad agency, with clients like Bank of New York and Greenpeace, and part production company, with projects like New York neighborhood TV series Cool in Your Code, the nearly 10-year-old, $20 million company donates farm animals to poor nations in lieu of holiday gifts for clients. Six staffers, moved by the firm’s work for a food bank, showed their empathy last year by each eating just one meal a day for a week.
